When the dual rovers Spirit and chance touched down on Mars in Gregorian calendar month 2004, they were expected to drive many hundred yards and last ninety days. however scientists were wrong; the hardy robots tested to be 2 of the best explorers of the time. Now, ten years later, one rover is down, however the opposite refuses to die and continues to remand beautiful pictures and exciting new scientific data. As newer rovers still land on the alien planet, we glance back at this outstanding journey.
